School Direction Committee

The purpose of the School Direction Committee is to support the school in delivering the highest possible outcomes for our students and the community. These meetings will discuss strategic planning, school resourcing, policy and procedure reviews, community engagement strategies and similiar school operational activities, in addition to reflecting on feedback from our parents, caregivers and community members.

Next Meeting:

Monday 24th July, 2023 at 3:15pm

These meetings will be held in Week 2 each term. An additional meeting will be held in Term 4, Week 8 to review forward planning for the next year.

This School Direction Committee is to work collaboratively with the Belltrees Public School Parent and Community Association. The focus of the School Direction Committee is to manage compliance, school planning and reporting, and other essential school items.

This structure is to create the process regularity required to meet Department requirements of communicating with community. Agenda and minutes from School Direction Committee will be provided to the P&C within the week after the meeting.

All parents, caregivers and community members are welcomed and encouraged to attend the School Direction Committee meetings.

The School Direction Committee will strictly only discuss items on the agenda. No general business will be open for discussion, these elements are for P&C meetings. The structureof this meeting is for the aforementioned activities, such as compliance.

Agenda for meetings will be distributed a minimum of two weeks before a scheduled School Direction Committee meeting.
